Andhra Pradesh Districts Excel in National Lok Adalat
In Andhra Pradesh, two districts, Nellore and Kurnool-Nandyal, had a special event called National Lok Adalat to solve many cases quickly.
Nellore solved the most cases in the state, with 48,317 cases settled by 26 groups of judges.
Most of these were criminal cases, but there were also some civil and municipal cases.
Important people like judges and government officers helped.
In Kurnool and Nandyal, 19,577 cases were settled by 28 groups of judges.
They also helped people get money from insurance companies for accidents.
Banks, insurance companies, and a big phone company also helped to solve problems quickly.
This shows that these districts are good at making justice fast and easy for people.
Nellore district settled 48,317 cases in the National Lok Adalat, topping Andhra Pradesh.
Kurnool and Nandyal districts settled 19,577 cases, including 197 motor accident cases with Rs 6.34 crore in compensation.
The cases were handled by 26 benches in Nellore and 28 benches in Kurnool and Nandyal.
Of the total cases in Nellore, 32,657 were criminal, 147 were civil, and 15,513 were municipal and free litigation cases.
The events were inaugurated by key officials, including judges and government officers, with active participation from banks, insurance companies, and BSNL.
