Jagan directs YSRCP legislators to corner Andhra government in Council

A big political party in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh is called YSRCP.

Its leader, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, held a meeting with lawmakers from his party.

He asked them to ask the state government tough questions in the Legislative Council.

The Council is a place where laws and government actions are discussed.

YSRCP says there were problems with a teacher recruitment process called DSC-2025.

They think jobs may have been given unfairly and that money may have been demanded for jobs.

They want the education minister, Nara Lokesh, to resign and want an independent investigation.

The party also says the government owes money to students and families, about Rs 12,400 crore in fee reimbursement and housing scheme dues.

Jagan told his leaders to bring evidence and tell the public their side of the story if they cannot speak in the Assembly.

He also criticized a new PPP policy, saying it may let private companies charge people for basic services.
