Nigel Farage regains UK parliamentary seat despite Count Binface challenge

A politician named Nigel Farage in Britain won an election to keep his job as a member of parliament.

He had quit his job last month and asked the voters in his town to choose him again.

He said that he was fighting against people who were accusing him of doing something wrong with money.

A rich person had given him a gift of five million pounds, and people wanted to know why he didn't tell anyone about it.

The big political parties decided not to take part, because they thought the whole election was just a trick.

So his toughest opponent ended up being a comedian dressed like a trash can, called Count Binface.

Count Binface wanted funny things, like cheaper ice cream cones and no loud phone calls on buses.

Mr. Farage won the election with lots of votes, but he didn't go to see the results announced.

He said the police told him that people planned to cause trouble at the event.

Now he is going back to parliament, but officials may keep checking whether he followed the money rules.
