MRVC Opens Elevated Deck at Vasai Road Station
The Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation has built a new elevated walkway at Vasai Road station.
This walkway connects two busy platforms and has wide staircases to help people move around more easily.
The station is very crowded, so this new addition will help manage the large number of commuters and make it safer for everyone.
It's part of a bigger plan to improve railway stations in the Mumbai area.
MRVC has opened a new 60m x 10m elevated deck at Vasai Road station.
The deck connects Platforms 6 and 7 with 3m-wide staircases.
The project aims to ease congestion and improve passenger safety.
Vasai Road is one of the busiest suburban stations on the Western Railway network.
The deck is part of ongoing infrastructure upgrades for suburban railway stations.
