BJP Wins Coastal Karnataka Town Panchayat Elections
In the 2025 local body elections in Coastal Karnataka, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won big.
They won three Town Panchayats: Bajpe, Kinnigoli, and Manki.
In Bajpe, they won 11 out of 19 wards, and in Kinnigoli, they won 10 out of 18.
In Manki, they won 12 out of 20 wards.
The BJP also did well in other places like Bengaluru Rural and Raichur districts.
Some races were very close, with the BJP winning by just a few votes.
The BJP leaders are happy and say this shows people trust them for development and good governance.
BJP won three Town Panchayats in Coastal Karnataka: Bajpe, Kinnigoli, and Manki.
BJP secured a majority in Bajpe Town Panchayat with 11 out of 19 wards.
Close contests in Bajpe's Ward No 9 and Ward No 10, with BJP winning by slim margins.
BJP won 10 out of 18 wards in Kinnigoli Town Panchayat and 12 out of 20 in Manki.
BJP also performed well in Bengaluru Rural and Raichur districts, winning ward-level polls.
