Iran Claims Military and Political Victory in War
Iran's top leaders are saying they won a big fight against the United States and Israel.
They say they won both in fighting and in politics.
The leader of Iran's parliament, Mohammad Ghalibaf, said Iran stood strong and came out victorious.
He also said a special agreement between Iran and the US is a reason to be proud.
Iran's military leaders also said they will keep fighting until they win completely.
Meanwhile, the US President, Donald Trump, says the opposite - that America destroyed Iran's military.
So the two sides are telling very different stories about who won.
Iran is also working on a new agreement with a country called Oman.
This agreement would create new shipping lanes in a very important waterway called the Strait of Hormuz.
Many ships pass through that waterway, so it matters to the whole world.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Ghalibaf said Iran emerged victorious both militarily and politically from an 'unjust war' led by the US and Israel.
Ghalibaf described the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Iran and the United States as a source of 'pride and victory' that would consolidate Iran's diplomatic success.
The General Staff of Iran's Armed Forces vowed not to back down until defeating the 'American-Zionist adversaries in the region'.
US President Donald Trump has consistently claimed destruction of Iran's military infrastructure.
Iran said it is nearing a final pact with Oman that will define new shipping lanes in the Strait of Hormuz.
