Bengaluru Police Arrest Husband, Friend in Woman's Murder Case
A woman named Asha S died in Bengaluru.
At first, the police thought it was an accident, but after looking at her body, they thought something bad happened.
So, they changed the case to murder and arrested her husband, Virupaksha, and his friend.
Asha's brother said that Virupaksha did not take care of her and had problems in their marriage.
They were not living together for a while, and there was a divorce case going on.
The police are now investigating the murder.
The Bengaluru police converted an Unnatural Death Report (UDR) to a murder case after the post-mortem examination of Asha S hinted at foul play.
Asha S, 28, was the wife of Virupaksha, a native of Kunigal taluk of Tumkur district.
The couple had a love marriage six years ago and had been living in Bengaluru since then.
Asha's brother alleged that Virupaksha did not take proper care of her and depended on her income.
The couple had been living separately for about one-and-a-half months due to marital disputes, and a divorce petition was pending in the Family Court.
