Tujhya Aaila Review Examines Childhood Games, Cruelty, and Memory
Tujhya Aaila is a Marathi movie about a boy named Avinash who moves to a village.
His father gets a new job there, but Avinash’s mother dislikes the place.
At school, Avinash makes friends with Devya and Chand.
He also meets Khandya, a tough bully.
The boys play a game using rude sentences that begin with “Tujhya aaila.”
The game seems like a joke, but it often hurts people.
The movie shows friendship, unfair treatment, violence, and differences between people.
The review says the film is beautiful and unusual, though some characters could have been developed more.
Sujay Dahake’s Marathi film follows Avinash after his father’s posting to a village in Satara.
Avinash befriends Devya and Chand while facing the bully Khandya through a hurtful mother-slur game.
The film combines gentle humor with violence, caste and religious differences, and the harshness of village life.
Its 84-minute, episode-based screenplay is engaging and atmospheric but sometimes limits character development.
Soham Babar leads a strong young cast, while the review praises the cinematography but questions the teacher’s portrayal.
