Tesla to Open First EV Hub in Gurugram, India
Tesla is expanding its business in India!
They've rented a big space in Gurugram to open a store, service center, and delivery hub all in one.
This will be their first such hub in the Delhi area.
They're also planning to open more stores and charging stations.
This is happening because the Indian government is encouraging electric cars.
This means Tesla is investing in India because they see a lot of potential for selling electric vehicles there.
Tesla signed a 9-year lease in Gurugram for its first integrated EV hub and store.
The facility will be located at Orchid Business Park on Sohna Road.
The lease includes a monthly rent of approximately ₹40.17 lakh and a 4.75% annual escalation clause.
The Gurugram hub will complement Tesla's existing operations in Mumbai.
