Adobe Enhances Firefly with Text-Driven Video Edits
Adobe has updated its AI-powered video app, Firefly, to let users edit videos using text commands.
Before, users had to start over to make changes, but now they can adjust colors, lighting, and camera angles just by typing what they want.
Adobe also added a timeline view for more control and support for new AI models from other companies.
This makes Firefly more powerful and easier to use.
Until mid-January, some subscribers get unlimited video generations.
Adobe is making Firefly a full creative tool, not just for making videos from scratch.
Adobe's Firefly now supports text-driven video editing, allowing users to refine clips with text instructions.
New timeline view enables fine-tuning of frames, audio, and visual characteristics.
Firefly now supports third-party models like Topaz Labs’ Astra for video upscaling and Black Forest Labs’ FLUX.2 for image generation.
Eligible subscribers receive unlimited generations from all image models and the Firefly Video model until January 15.
The update positions Firefly as a comprehensive creative platform beyond just video generation.
