Rajasthan Police: Junior Engineer Exam Paper Leaked Again
The question paper for a test to hire junior engineers in Rajasthan was leaked not once, but twice.
The first time was in December 2020, and the test was canceled.
But when they held the test again in September 2021, the question paper was leaked again.
A man named Ganpat Lal Bishnoi, who works as an assistant engineer, was caught.
He used the leaked paper to get a high rank in the test and even got a promotion.
The police are now trying to cancel his appointment and promotion.
The question paper for the Junior Engineer Combined Recruitment Examination-2020 was leaked during the re-test held in September 2021.
An assistant engineer, Ganpat Lal Bishnoi, was arrested for his involvement in the leak.
Bishnoi secured the 12th rank in the exam using the leaked question paper and received a promotion.
The Special Operations Group (SOG) registered a fresh case on January 19, 2023, after finding out about the re-test leak.
The SOG is initiating legal proceedings to cancel Bishnoi's appointment and promotion.
