UP's GCC Policy Garners Investor Interest in Mumbai
Uttar Pradesh, a state in India, wants to attract big companies to set up offices there that do important work like research or customer support.
They recently had a meeting in Mumbai, a big business city, to tell company leaders about their special plan.
They explained that Uttar Pradesh has many smart people who can work, good roads and internet, and special government help like money back on salaries or help buying land.
This made the company leaders excited, and they showed interest in setting up their offices, research centers, and data centers in Uttar Pradesh.
Invest UP hosted an investor roundtable in Mumbai to promote Uttar Pradesh's GCC Policy 2024.
The event attracted industry leaders, investors, and financial stakeholders to discuss opportunities in GCCs, R&D, and data centers.
Uttar Pradesh highlighted its advantages, including fiscal incentives, abundant talent, and strong connectivity, positioning itself as a future GCC hub.
The UP GCC Policy 2024 offers incentives like payroll subsidies, IPR reimbursements, and capital/land support to reduce early-stage risks for investors.
