BWSSB Launches AI-Powered Leak Detection Pilot in Bengaluru
Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) is testing new technology in Bengaluru South.
They will use robots and artificial intelligence to find hidden water leaks in underground pipes.
The project will run for a year and a half and is free for BWSSB because a company called Titan is paying for it.
The robots will send alerts when they find problems, helping the board fix leaks faster.
The board’s chairman said this will make Bengaluru’s water safer and more efficient.
