ITC Q1 Earnings Hit 16% Drop, Stock Near 52‑Week Low
ITC, a big Indian company, made less money in its first quarter of 2027 than it did last year, dropping about 16%.
But its sales went up a lot, about 28%.
Many Indian investors own almost half of the company, while foreign investors own a smaller share.
After the earnings were announced, the stock price went up a little but is still close to its lowest point in the past year.
Experts say the price could rise if it goes above Rs 295, but it needs to stay above Rs 280 to keep going up.
ITC’s Q1 FY27 net profit fell 16.21% YoY to Rs 4,394.13 crore.
Revenue rose 27.64% YoY to Rs 29,523.30 crore.
Domestic Institutional Investors hold 49.13% of ITC; Foreign Institutional Investors dropped to 34.2%.
Stock rallied after earnings, trading near its 52‑week low but above the 20‑day EMA.
Analysts see upside above Rs 295–300 with support at Rs 280–285.
