Delhi Holds Mega Cleanliness Drive Across 300 Locations

Delhi held a large cleanup campaign in many parts of the city.

About 300 locations, including schools, markets, parks and neighborhoods, were included.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and other ministers joined students, sanitation workers and residents.

They said keeping places clean is everyone’s responsibility.

A community toilet was also opened on Pandara Road.

The toilet has separate areas for men and women, cameras and hygiene facilities.

The New Delhi Municipal Council said workers removed about 300 kilograms of waste and silt from one area.

Opposition leader Ankush Narang said many streets still had garbage.

This means supporters saw the drive as useful, while critics said the city’s larger waste problem was not solved.
