Minister Jupally Calls BJP's Water Issue a Political Stunt
When rivers have less water because there is not enough rain, farmers worry about water for their crops.
In a place called Telangana in India, there are big projects that bring water to farms.
A leader named Jupally Krishna Rao works for the government.
He said the other political group, the BJP, is making a big fuss about water just to look good.
He called it a drama and a stunt.
He said the government's water experts have a plan for the Jurala and other projects.
Because it rained in higher areas, more water is coming into the reservoirs, and officials are releasing it as planned.
Mr. Rao said the Congress government will finish all the pending irrigation projects in the Mahbubnagar district.
He also said the BJP did not take care of these projects when it was in power for ten years.
Telangana Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao called the BJP's water issue a political drama and a stunt.
He said the Congress government will complete all pending irrigation projects in the erstwhile Mahbubnagar district.
The Palamuru-Ranga Reddy lift irrigation scheme will be completed 100 percent to provide irrigation water to farmers.
Water management for the Jurala, Nettempadu, Bhima and Koilasagar projects is being done as per the irrigation department's plan.
