Pakistan's Field Marshal Munir Expands Influence Beyond Military Role

Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Chief of the Army Staff in Pakistan, has been given the highest military rank, but this doesn't give him any extra power over the government.

Even so, he's been doing a lot of things that usually civilian leaders do, like talking to other countries' leaders and helping with things like controlling the population.

Some people think this is good because the military can help with big problems.

But others worry it's bad because it means the military is taking over jobs that should be done by elected leaders.

This has happened before in Pakistan, and some people are afraid it's happening again.

There's even a saying called 'Asim Law' that makes fun of how much power one person has.

The main worry is that if the military keeps doing civilian jobs, it might make the government weaker and less able to make decisions on its own.
