Khalistanis vandalize Indian embassy in Croatia
Some people who support Khalistan, a separate country for Sikhs, went to the Indian Embassy in Croatia at night.
They took down the Indian flag and put up their own flag.
They also wrote messages on the walls.
The Indian government said this was very wrong and asked the Croatian government to find these people and punish them.
The people who did this said they were doing it to show their support for Khalistan and to remember past events.
The Indian government said this is not acceptable and that embassies should be protected.
Khalistani activists vandalized the Indian Embassy in Zagreb, Croatia, removing the Indian flag and replacing it with a Khalistani flag.
The incident occurred at midnight and included spray-painting pro-Khalistan slogans on the embassy premises.
The act was claimed by the banned pro-Khalistan group Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), led by Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.
India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) condemned the incident and raised the matter with Croatian authorities, demanding action.
The incident violates the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, which mandates the protection of diplomatic premises.
