Mahindra Launches XEV 9S Electric SUV in India

Mahindra has launched a new electric SUV called the XEV 9S in India.

This car has seven seats and comes in three different battery sizes, which give it a range of 521km to 679km.

The price starts at ₹23.51 lakh and goes up to ₹34.48 lakh.

It looks similar to another Mahindra car, the 9e, and has a lot of cool features inside like three screens and special lights.

You can start booking it on January 14, 2026, and the first cars will be delivered on January 23, 2026.

It competes with the Tata Harrier EV in the same price range.

Mahindra also introduced a new 70-kWh battery pack for the XEV 9S, which sits between the 59 kWh and 79 kWh options.

This mid-range battery is priced at ₹24.45 lakh and offers a real-world range of about 450 km, providing a good balance between cost and performance.
