TAFE, AGCO Resolve Dispute over Massey Ferguson Brand
Two companies, TAFE and AGCO, had a disagreement about the Massey Ferguson brand.
They argued about who owned the brand and how they should work together.
They decided to solve it outside of court in July.
TAFE will now be the only owner of the brand in India and nearby countries.
The head of AGCO said that Sudarshan Venu helped with the deal.
TAFE also bought back shares from AGCO.
The whole problem began when AGCO ended their agreements with TAFE, which led to a legal issue.
Now, they have resolved it.
TAFE and AGCO reached an out-of-court settlement in July.
The settlement resolved all disputes over the Massey Ferguson brand and related issues.
TAFE becomes the sole owner of the Massey Ferguson brand in India, Nepal, and Bhutan.
AGCO CEO Eric P. Hansotia acknowledged the resolution, citing Sudarshan Venu's close collaboration.
