Josh Radnor, who played Ted Mosby in How I Met Your Mother, recently talked about auditioning for the role of Jim Halpert in The Office.

He shared that he was confused about whether Jim was supposed to be smart or not.

During his audition, he thought his improvisations made Jim seem a bit too dim.

He had a good audition, but later realized he might have misunderstood the character.
