Machado Injured Fleeing Venezuela for Nobel

Maria Corina Machado, a Nobel Peace Prize winner from Venezuela, got hurt while escaping her country to go to Norway for her award.

She had to hide and travel in secret because the president, Nicolas Maduro, doesn't like her.

She had to go through many checkpoints and take a small boat in rough seas.

She was very scared but made it to Norway safely.

She even had to change boats because the first one had problems.

She told people she felt like her life was in danger but also felt safe because she believed in God.

She had to skip the award ceremony because she was delayed, but she still went to see her supporters.
