Heavy Rush Extends Tirumala Sarva Darshan Wait to 24 Hours
Many people visited Tirumala to see the deity during a busy holiday period.
Because so many devotees arrived, some people waited 20 to 24 hours.
The lines stretched outside the main queue buildings.
Some families could not find rooms and slept in shelters, parks, or other open places.
Children and older people also had to wait for long periods.
