BJP Attacks JMM-Led Jharkhand Govt Over Pending Scholarships, PDS Commissions
In Jharkhand, the BJP is criticizing the JMM-led government for not giving scholarships to students and not paying PDS dealers on time.
The BJP says the state government made new rules in 2022 that caused these problems.
The JMM-led government says the central government is not giving them the money they need.
Both sides are blaming each other for the delays.
The BJP says around Rs 2,600 crore is stuck with the central government because of the state government's mistakes.
The JMM-led government says they are trying to get the money from the central government to pay the PDS dealers.
The BJP also says that 25,000 PDS dealers have not been paid their commissions for a long time.
BJP accused the JMM-led Jharkhand government of delaying scholarships for SC, ST, and OBC students and commissions for PDS dealers.
BJP claims the state government's new guidelines in 2022 caused delays in central funds amounting to Rs 2,600 crore.
