Blackstone-Owned AGS Health Files IPO Papers to Raise ₹4,800 Crore

AGS Health is a company that helps hospitals get paid for the care they give.

It handles things like medical coding, billing, and collecting payments from patients and insurance companies.

The company is owned by Blackstone, a big investment company.

AGS Health wants to sell shares of itself to the public for the first time.

This is called an initial public offering, or IPO.

The company hopes to raise up to ₹4,800 crore from this sale.

Most of that money, ₹3,000 crore, will go to Blackstone's investment arm.

AGS Health will also use some of the money to pay back loans it took.

The company mostly works with hospitals in the United States.

It serves 82 health systems there, including 11 of the top 20 hospitals in America.
