MP Conducts First Impact Study of Ladli Behana Scheme
The government of Madhya Pradesh is doing a study to see how a special program called the Ladli Behana Scheme is helping women in the state.
The scheme gives women Rs 1,500 every month.
The study is looking at whether the women get the money on time, how they use it, and if it is making their lives better.
The government wants to know if the program is working well and if there are any women who should be included but aren't.
This is the first time such a study is being done, and it will help the government make the program even better.
The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis (AIGGPA) is conducting the first-ever impact study of the Ladli Behana Scheme in Madhya Pradesh.
The study aims to assess the scheme's impact on beneficiaries' lives, focusing on financial assistance receipt, spending patterns, and financial empowerment.
Key parameters include timely receipt of funds, spending on education, personal needs, and small business activities, and identification of excluded eligible women.
The study is expected to be completed within a month and will help the government understand the scheme's effectiveness and make necessary improvements.
The Ladli Behana Scheme, launched by former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, provides Rs 1,500 per month to 1.25 crore women in the state.
