RJD-Congress Tensions Rise After Bihar Election Loss
The RJD and Congress, who are part of the Mahagathbandhan alliance in Bihar, are having some big fights after they lost badly in the recent elections.
The Congress did not do well and won only a few seats, which made them upset.
They had a meeting to talk about why they lost and many people said the RJD didn't help them enough.
The RJD's leader said the Congress is not important and should try to win on their own.
Both sides are now saying they need to focus on getting stronger instead of working together right now.
They are still part of a bigger group called the INDIA bloc, but they are not getting along very well.
Tensions between RJD and Congress in Bihar have escalated after the Mahagathbandhan's poor performance in the recent Assembly elections.
Congress won only 6 out of 61 seats contested, while RJD secured 25 out of 143 seats.
During a Congress review meeting, 27 out of 38 District Congress Committee presidents blamed the alliance with RJD for their poor showing.
RJD's Bihar unit president Mangani Lal Mandal dared the Congress to break ties, calling them a 'spent force' in the state.
Both parties have stated their immediate priority is to strengthen their own organizations rather than focusing on the alliance.
