DRM Cup Football Tournament Starts in Vizag
A big football tournament called the DRM Cup started in Visakhapatnam on December 1.
It is organized by the East Coast Railway Sports Association and will go on until December 21.
Many teams from different states and organizations are playing in this tournament.
The first match was between teams from Telangana and Bondamunda.
The person in charge, Lalit Bohra, said this is a great time to start such events because a famous footballer is also in India promoting the sport.
They plan to have more football tournaments in the future to help young players from nearby villages.
The DRM Cup All India Invitation Football Tournament began on December 1 at Waltair football stadium in Visakhapatnam.
The tournament is organized by the East Coast Railway Sports Association (ECoRSA) Waltair Division and will run until December 21.
Lalit Bohra, Divisional Railway Manager and ECoRSA president, inaugurated the event.
About 14 teams from various states and organizations are participating in the tournament.
