Indian Army's Artillery Regiment Celebrates Gunners' Day
Imagine a special day for the Indian Army's artillery, like a birthday!
They call it Gunners' Day, and this year was the 199th one.
It's a day to remember the start of the artillery, a long time ago.
They had a ceremony in New Delhi, including laying a wreath to honor soldiers who have passed away.
The leaders of the artillery were there to celebrate.
They're also working on making their weapons and equipment better, using the idea of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' (self-reliant India).
The Regiment of Artillery marked its 199th Gunners’ Day.
The celebration took place in New Delhi.
A wreath-laying ceremony was held at the National War Memorial.
Lieutenant General Adosh Kumar paid tribute to fallen soldiers.
