Viral ChatGPT Prompts Recreate Photos Across Five Retro Decades
People are using ChatGPT to make their photos look as if they were taken decades ago.
They can choose styles from the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, or 1990s.
Some prompts create classic portraits, while others imitate Bollywood, family, or school photographs.
The prompts tell ChatGPT to keep the person recognizable.
They also describe old-fashioned clothes, hairstyles, furniture, and backgrounds.
Lighting and colours are added to match each time period.
Film grain and faded colours help the pictures look like analogue photographs.
The article says detailed descriptions make the results feel more authentic.
The trend uses ChatGPT prompts to transform uploaded photos into images inspired by past decades.
The prompts cover 1960s classic portraits, 1960s Bollywood styling, 1970s Indian family photos, 1980s Bollywood looks, and 1990s Indian school photos.
Each prompt asks ChatGPT to preserve the person’s identity, facial features, skin tone, age, and recognizable appearance.
Users are encouraged to describe period-accurate clothing, hairstyles, settings, lighting, colours, accessories, and camera styles.
Film grain, faded tones, date stamps, direct flash, and analogue softness are used to make the images look historically authentic.
