SBI Launches CHAKRA for Sunrise Sector Funding

SBI Launches CHAKRA for Sunrise Sector Funding

The State Bank of India (SBI) has opened a new center called CHAKRA.

This center will help find money for important new industries in India, like clean energy and electric cars.

These industries are expected to need a lot of money by 2030.

CHAKRA will help by sharing knowledge, making reports, and talking to different groups.

The goal is to make India's economy stronger and more modern by 2047.

Meanwhile, SBI's chairman talked about how bank deposits and other financial instruments should be treated fairly in terms of taxes.

He noted that people are saving more in stocks and mutual funds these days, which is a big change from the past.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also announced a high-level committee to review the banking sector and align it with India's growth plans.
