Arun Chaturvedi Named Chairman of Rajasthan Finance Commission

The Rajasthan government has appointed Arun Chaturvedi as the head of the State Finance Commission.

This commission will examine how local governments, like villages and cities, are managing their money.

They'll make suggestions to improve their finances and how the state government shares its money with these local groups.

The commission also can suggest grants for rural and urban areas.

Chaturvedi, a former minister, will lead this effort for the next one and a half years.

The Chief Minister welcomed Chaturvedi to his new role.
