General Atlantic invests in Balaji Wafers

General Atlantic, a big investment company from the US, has bought a part of Balaji Wafers, a popular snack company from Gujarat.

They didn't say how much money they spent, but it's about Rs 2,500 crore for a 7% stake, making the company worth Rs 35,000 crore.

Balaji Wafers makes lots of snacks like chips, wafers, and sweets.

They sell these snacks all over India and even in 25 other countries.

The money from General Atlantic will help Balaji Wafers make better snacks, grow bigger, and sell more.

The Virani brothers started Balaji Wafers a long time ago in 1981.

They are happy to have General Atlantic's help to make their company even better.

Haldiram's, a rival, also got big investments from other companies.
