BPSC Postpones AEDO Exam Due to Unavoidable Reasons

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has postponed the written exam for the Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) role.

The exam was supposed to happen from January 10 to January 16, 2026, but it has been delayed because of some unavoidable reasons.

The BPSC received a huge number of applications, around 9.7 lakh, for only 935 posts.

The exam will be in three parts, each testing different subjects like General Studies, General Knowledge, and General Aptitude.

The new dates for the exam will be announced later on the BPSC website.

The posts have a pay scale of Level 5, which is Rs 29,200, and many vacancies are reserved for different categories, including 319 for women.
