Bharat Innovates Exposition Showcases India’s Deep-Tech Ecosystem Ahead of BRICS
India is holding an event called the Bharat Innovates Exposition in New Delhi.
It is taking place before and alongside the BRICS Summit.
The event shows new technologies created by Indian startups and researchers.
Thirty-seven deep-tech startups are participating.
They were selected from 120 ventures that took part in an earlier event in France.
Investors, companies, universities and government representatives from BRICS countries are expected to attend.
The startups can discuss partnerships, funding and selling their technologies in other countries.
Meetings are being arranged with industry groups such as FICCI, CII and ASSOCHAM.
The event is part of India’s effort to improve cooperation in education, research and innovation.
The two-day exposition is being held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on September 11 and 12, 2026.
The Ministry of Education is organising the event with the Ministry of External Affairs alongside the 18th BRICS Summit.
Thirty-seven Indian deep-tech startups are exhibiting after being selected from 120 ventures featured in Bharat Innovates 2026 in Nice, France.
The exposition connects startups, higher education institutions, laboratories and research parks with BRICS investors, companies and research organisations.
The event supports the BRICS Education Track priority of strengthening research, innovation and startup ecosystems.
