CAGE International Supports Majid Freeman Ahead of Retrial
Majid Freeman is a Muslim activist who was jailed for 22 weeks for trying to cause trouble during some riots in Leicester in 2022.
He spread false information about Hindus, which made the situation worse.
Now, a group called CAGE International is trying to help him and says he was unfairly treated.
They are asking people to support him at his retrial in January 2026.
But another group, INSIGHT UK, says Freeman is not a good person and should not be supported because he caused harm.
Freeman has also been accused of supporting a terrorist group called Hamas.
The court says Freeman tried to cause violence and spread lies, but CAGE International says he was just trying to help people.
