Central Railway Cancels Harbour Line Block for Cricket World Cup Final
Imagine trains are like buses on special tracks.
Usually, sometimes they have to stop these tracks for a little while to fix them, like a mini-road closure.
But on Sunday, November 2, 2025, there's a big cricket game, the Women's Cricket World Cup Final!
Lots of people will be using the train to get to the game.
So, the train people decided to cancel the track repair work on the Harbour Line.
This way, the trains can keep running smoothly so everyone can get to the game without problems.
They still plan to do some fixing work on a different train track called the Main Line, but not on the Harbour Line.
They are asking people to check the train schedule just in case.
Central Railway has cancelled the Harbour Line mega block planned for Sunday, November 2, 2025.
The block was scheduled between Kurla and Vashi for routine maintenance.
The cancellation is to ensure smooth travel for fans attending the Women's Cricket World Cup Final.
Harbour Line train services will operate on their regular Sunday timetable.
