HBO Rebrands Six TV Channels and Revives Cinemax Name
HBO, the company that makes shows and movies, is changing the names of some of its TV channels.
They are also bringing back the name Cinemax.
This means the names of some channels, like HBO2, will change.
The company is doing this to make it easier to know what kind of shows are on each channel.
The updated names will also be used for live programming on HBO Max, where viewers can watch live TV through the app.
This comes after the streaming service went back to using the name HBO.
HBO is renaming six of its linear channels.
HBO2 will become HBO Hits.
HBO Signature will become HBO Drama.
The Cinemax brand is being revived.
The updated names will be used in the HBO Max app.
