Bangladeshi Woman with Mental Illness Returns Home After India
A woman from Bangladesh who has mental health issues, was found alone in India.
She couldn't remember who she was, but hospital staff in Nagpur helped her remember.
Eventually, she recalled her home was near a Radha Krishna temple.
Working with an NGO and a journalist, her family was found, who believed she was gone for six years.
With the help of hospital staff and officials, she returned to her family in Bangladesh.
Now she is reunited with her family.
A woman from Bangladesh, with mental health issues, was found in Gondia, Maharashtra in April 2023.
She was initially cared for in a local hospital before being transferred to the Regional Mental Hospital (RMH) in Nagpur.
