UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key Release Awaited, Says NTA
The UGC NET is a big test in India that students take to qualify for research fellowships, college teaching jobs, and PhD admissions.
The test took place in late June and early July 2026.
The National Testing Agency, or NTA, runs the exam.
Many students are waiting for the answer key, which is the list of correct answers.
They use it to guess their scores and plan their next steps.
The agency says it is taking time because the exam covered 87 subjects.
The answer key will appear on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Students can challenge an answer they think is wrong, but they must pay Rs 200 for each challenge.
The exact release date has not been announced yet.
The Ministry of Education has not responded to questions about the date, so everyone is waiting.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the UGC NET June 2026 provisional answer key soon on ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
The exams were held on June 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, with a retest on July 5, 2026, covering 87 subjects.
Candidates can challenge the answer key for discrepancies with valid justification and proof.
Challenging the answer key costs Rs 200 per question as a non-refundable processing fee.
