Delhi Police Says Senior Officers Were Deliberately Targeted

Delhi Police says some senior officers were targeted on purpose.

The statement came amid sexual assault allegations.

A police representative said many videos and reels showed male officers.

The representative noted that these officers often wore blue lanyards.

They said people knew senior officers wore those lanyards.

The police argued that upsetting senior officers could make them less motivated.

It also said this could affect the staff working below them.

The provided account does not give further details about the allegations or the protest.
