Heavy rain caused flooding and waterlogging in parts of Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav left Delhi and went to Rewa to check the situation.
He held a meeting with officials from Rewa and Satna.
The Mandakini River rose very high near Chitrakoot.
Rescue teams moved people from villages to safer places.

Officials were told to provide food, water, clothes, medical help and safe shelters.
The government also asked rescue teams to stay ready and help stranded pilgrims and residents.
