Nature Infectious Diseases Conference to Convene Global Experts in India
A big meeting called the Nature Conference on Infectious Diseases will happen at a university in Manipal, India, from October 14 to 16, 2026.
Scientists, doctors, and people who make health rules will talk about how to find and stop diseases that spread around the world.
They will also discuss new medicines, vaccines, and ways to keep people safe from new germs.
The conference is organized with help from several Nature journals and the university.
People can send their research ideas, and a few will get to speak for a short time.
The event will bring experts from many countries to share ideas and help India and other places prepare for future health problems.
The Nature Conference on Infectious Diseases will be held at Manipal Academy of Higher Education from Oct 14‑16, 2026.
The three‑day event brings together researchers, clinicians, policymakers and industry leaders to discuss surveillance, diagnostics, therapeutics, vaccines and AMR.
The conference is organized in partnership with Nature Medicine, Nature Microbiology, Nature Health, Nature Communications and MAHE.
Early‑bird abstract submissions are open, with four short‑talk slots for outstanding papers.
