DGCA Issues Initial Rankings; No Flight Schools Achieve Top Grades
The DGCA, the aviation regulator in India, has graded the country's flight schools for the first time.
They looked at how safe and good the schools are.
No school got the best grades (A+ or A).
13 schools got a B, and 22 schools got a C. Schools with a C will need to improve.
The DGCA will update these grades twice a year.
DGCA released the first-ever ranking of Flying Training Organisations (FTOs).
No FTOs received the top A+ or A ratings.
13 FTOs were ranked B, and 22 received C ratings.
Rankings consider operational aspects, safety, and student support.
