Students Imagine Mars Settlements and Explore Space Science
Students at two schools took part in activities about space and the future of humans beyond Earth.
At G.D. Birla Centre for Education, teams from 15 schools imagined how people might live on Mars.
They designed homes, life-support systems and plans for reaching the planet.
They used research and handmade models to explain their ideas.
At DPS Ruby Park, a new astronomy laboratory was opened.
Former ISRO chairman A.S. Kiran Kumar joined the inauguration.
Students can use the laboratory to learn about astronomy, astrophysics and space science.
Both events encouraged students to be curious, creative and interested in scientific discovery.
G.D. Birla Centre for Education hosted Galaxis 2.0 on August 4 with students from 15 schools.
Teams presented Mars settlement plans involving habitats, launch strategies and life-support systems.
Students defended their proposals using scientific research, handmade models and on-the-spot responses.
DPS Ruby Park inaugurated an astronomy laboratory on July 20 with former ISRO chairman A.S. Kiran Kumar.
The new laboratory will offer hands-on opportunities in astronomy, astrophysics and space science.
