NDA leaders defend govt on student protests

NDA leaders have come out in support of the government's handling of recent student protests in New Delhi.

They accused Opposition parties of politicizing student issues and creating disorder.

BJP leader Brij Bhushan Singh said the government should engage with protesting students and address their grievances.

He alleged that Opposition groups, including the Left, had taken over the student-led agitation and moved it away from its original purpose.

BJP Rajya Sabha MP Rahul Sinha criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, alleging that the Opposition party was trying to raise issues despite having a history of corruption allegations.

JD(U) leader Umesh Kushwaha criticized the Congress protest near Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence, alleging that Opposition leaders attempted to create disorder instead of raising issues through democratic channels.
