Exicom Opens FY27 with Order Wins, Revenue Grows Sharply
Exicom is a company that makes chargers for electric cars and big backup power systems.
It told everyone how much money it made in the first part of the year.
It made a lot more money than it did one year ago.
Its sales of chargers and power equipment grew very quickly.
Rising costs for parts and changing exchange rates squeezed some of its profit.
More people in India are buying electric cars than ever before — over 80,000 in one quarter.
Because of that, Exicom is getting many new orders from all over the world.
It is also building new fast chargers and smarter charging apps.
The boss of the company says he is confident about the year ahead.
Exicom Tele-Systems Limited reported Q1 FY27 standalone revenue of ₹237 crore, up ~57% year on year, and consolidated revenue of ₹331 crore, up 61%.
Standalone EBITDA more than doubled to ~₹21 crore with an 8.8% margin, while the consolidated EBITDA loss narrowed to ~₹22 crore from ~₹39 crore.
India's EV market crossed 80,000 electric four-wheeler sales for the first time; Exicom's India EV business grew revenue 15% YoY, with AC charging up 35%.
Tritium booked USD 20.8 million in orders, roughly double the previous quarter, sold 508 chargers, and recorded USD 10.3 million in revenue.
Critical Power revenue grew 80% YoY, driven by 5G site expansion and Bharat Net Phase 3, where Exicom holds over 60% wallet share.
