ITDA Officer Emphasizes Doorstep Services for Village Businesses
An officer named B. Rahul told women in villages that to do well in business, they need to take their services right to people's homes.
This is because the market is changing.
ITC Limited, a company, helped 25 women start businesses by giving them things like sewing machines and groceries.
These women will also get training to help their businesses grow.
The company also gave certificates to 25 girls who finished training to become beauticians or electricians.
This helps women in villages earn money and become independent.
ITDA Officer B. Rahul stated that doorstep services are crucial for women-led enterprises in villages.
ITC Limited organized a livelihood asset and certificate distribution program under Mission Sunehra Kal.
25 Scheduled Tribe women received assets like sewing machines, grocery stocks, and pushcarts to start small businesses.
Beneficiaries will receive two years of training and support to ensure business stability.
25 girl students received certificates upon completing vocational training in beautician and electrician trades.
