Maharashtra FDA Finds Two Unlicensed Canteens at Bombay High Court

Maharashtra’s food-safety officers inspected the canteens at the Bombay High Court.

The inspection happened after judges asked whether government places were checked like private businesses.

Tukaram Mundhe said there were three canteens.

Two of them did not have the required licences.

The Mantralaya canteen had already been inspected.

Mundhe said his team visited the High Court canteen the next day.

He said food-safety rules should apply to both private and government establishments.

He also said that he challenges himself rather than other people.
