Taj Mahal opens for free during Shah Jahan's 371st Urs

The Taj Mahal in Agra, India, will be open for free to the public from January 15 to 17.

This is a special time called the Urs, which is the death anniversary of Shah Jahan, the emperor who built the Taj Mahal.

During these three days, people can also see the graves of Shah Jahan and his wife Mumtaz Mahal, which are usually not open.

Normally, the Taj Mahal charges an entry fee, but during these days, it's free.

On January 15 and 16, you can enter from 2 pm until sunset, and on January 17, you can enter from sunrise to sunset.

The Taj Mahal is usually closed on Fridays, but it will be open during these special days.

This happens only once a year, so it's a great chance for people to visit this famous monument for free.
